Role Summary

The Operations Head will serve as the senior-most operational leader at Ecovista’s Nigeria factory. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of factory operations, encompassing production, supply chain, quality, maintenance, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), and people management. The Operations Head will set strategic direction for the facility, drive operational excellence, and ensure that the factory meets its production targets, cost objectives, and sustainability commitments

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Planning
• Develop and implement the factory's operational strategy aligned with Ecovista Industries' corporate goals.
• Set annual production, cost, quality, and sustainability targets in collaboration with the executive team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and champion lean manufacturing principles.

2. Production & Manufacturing Management
• Oversee all production activities to ensure timely delivery, quality output, and efficient resource utilization.
• Monitor KPIs, production schedules, and capacity planning to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve production bottlenecks and operational challenges.

3. Supply Chain & Procurement
• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including sourcing, vendor management, logistics, and inventory control.
• Develop strategic supplier relationships to ensure continuity of materials and cost efficiency.
• Optimize procurement processes to support sustainable and local sourcing objectives.

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Ensure all products meet defined quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Maintain compliance with Nigerian industrial regulations, environmental laws, and international standards.
• Implement robust quality management systems and lead root cause analysis for nonconformances.

5. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• Champion a zero-harm safety culture across the factory floor and all operational areas.
• Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations and conduct regular audits.
• Drive eco-efficiency programs consistent with Ecovista's sustainability mandate.

6. Financial Management
• Own the factory's P&L, operating budget, and CAPEX plans; deliver results withinapproved budgets.
• Identify and implement cost reduction and productivity improvement opportunities.
• Provide accurate financial reporting and operational forecasts to the executiveleadership team.

7. People & Organizational Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of department heads and factory staff.
• Partner with HR to drive talent acquisition, succession planning, and workforce development.
• Foster an inclusive, performance-driven organizational culture grounded in Ecovista's values.

8. Stakeholder & Community Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulators, and local communities.
• Represent Ecovista Industries in industry forums, trade associations, and community initiatives.
• Ensure the factory operates as a responsible corporate citizen with positive community impact.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts.
• Manage financial records, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations.
• Advise on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Conduct internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
• Analyze financial trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance and suggest cost-saving measures.
• Support investment decisions and capital structure planning
